The Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Program provides service 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They offer:

Emergency medical care (within 12 days for +16yrs of age and no time limit for under 16yrs)

Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, HIV and pregnancy

Survivors of sexual abuse or violence who have brought charges against their abuser are connected with V/WAP who provide information, assistance and support to victims of crime throughout the criminal justice process.

Criminal Injuries Compensation Board awards financial compensation for victims of crimes of violence that happened in Ontario. Survivors who want to submit a claim need to complete an application and submit it to the Board. The application, which Sexual Assault Centre Kingston can help you fill out, is available to download here.

Lennox & Addington Interval House provides safe shelter for abused women and their children for up to 6 weeks. Safe housing is provided to those who have been physically, sexually, emotionally or financially abused or those who fear they will be assaulted. Trained and committed staff offer supportive counselling, crisis intervention and safety planning.
