What We Offer
At SAC, we offer a supportive, comprehensive, and intensive placement experience. Our goal is to provide students with ample opportunities and consistent support so that they can feel confident in their clinical work upon completion of their placement.

During their placements, students function as an active member of our counselling team with their own caseload of clients. They will have the opportunity to conduct intakes, provide individual counselling, and engage in crisis intervention. Students will also receive weekly individual supervision, monthly peer/group supervision, and be given the option to attend staff meetings, training, and other professional development opportunities. Experience co-facilitating groups and workshops may also be provided, depending on the start dates of our various groups.
